“Good morning, I am a resident of Limassol for 30 years now. I am very happy by all the positive changes of the city.
However among a lot of things remaining to be done in order to improve the image of the city there is one small thing very cheap which needs to be implemented in order to do the city more pretty for the locals and the visitors.
The central island of the sea side road has been planted with palm trees years ago. Some palm trees have been sick or unroted by car accidents. As a result after years only half of the palm trees remain in place and therefore the exotic image of the city is affected and it doesn’t look so nice.
Action to be taken : as soon as a palm tree is dead it has to be replaced by a new one which is currently not the case (even a small one and a cheap kind which is stronger and cost only one euro!!!).
Maybee it is a detail for you but believe me to have a long avenue like the sea side road planted with a lot of nice palm trees will impress russian, english… visitors. Same comments for the Ayios Athanasios and Yermasoyia part of this avenue.
Many thanks for your attention on this matter”.
Best regards.Yves BOULARAN…
