The Orphean Singers are based in Paphos and have recently returned from France where they performed in Marseilles, a city which is twinned with Limassol.
They then travelled to Paris and performed in La Madeleine with the Paris Symphonic Orchestra.
Last year they sang in Stephansdom in Vienna and they hope to be involved next year in Pafos2017 events.
The choir is led by Yiannis Hadjiloizou from Nicosia who has been the conductor and artistic director of the Orphean Singers since 2012, and they are accompanied by their talented pianist Nadia Iotova.
Puccini’s masterpiece Messa di Gloria was written when he was a student and it is a joyful and glorious musical experience which the choir love to sing!
