Η XeniArtSpace παρουσιάζει με υπερηφάνεια την ομαδική έκθεση Cyprus Orbits, μια πολυδιάστατη καλλιτεχνική εμπειρία που φέρνει, μαζί, εικαστικούς δημιουργούς, των οποίων οι πορείες συναντώνται σε ένα κοινό πεδίο έμπνευσης: την Κύπρο.
Τα εγκαίνια της έκθεσης, μιας πρωτοβουλίας της ιδρύτριας της γκαλερί, κας Xenia Kulbachevskaya, τέλεσε ο Δήμαρχος Λεμεσού, κ. Γιάννης Αρμεύτης, το Σάββατο 17 Μαΐου 2025, στο Trilogy Plaza στη Λεμεσό, παρουσία εκπροσώπων της πολιτείας, της επιχειρηματικής κοινότητας και του πολιτιστικού τομέα.
Η έκθεση, οποία θα παραμείνει ανοιχτή για το κοινό έως τις 26 Ιουλίου 2025, φιλοξενεί έργα καλλιτεχνών που γεννήθηκαν, ζουν ή εμπνέονται από την Κύπρο, μεταξύ των οποίων οι Δημήτρης Αγαπίου, Πασχάλης Αναστάση, Έλενα Αναστασίου Νεοκλέους, Νικόλας Αντωνίου, Ελισία Αθανάτου, Δάφνη Χριστοφόρου, Ανδρέα Ευαγγέλου, Ανδρέας Καλλής, Αναστασία Κρίβενκο, Ρένος Λοΐζου, Ελισάβετ Νενάροκοφ, Παπαράτσι, Παναγιώτης Πασαντάς, Θέκλα Παπαδοπούλου, Νικόλας Πολυχρόνη, Λουκία Σεργίου, Θέμης Θεμιστοκλέους, Μιχάλης Θεοδοσίου, Χριστιάνα Βουζούνη και Αλέξανδρος Γιωρκάτζης. Μέσα από τα έργα τους, οι δημιουργοί αναδεικνύουν τη χώρα μας, ως πολιτισμικό σταυροδρόμι και διαχρονικό καλλιτεχνικό πυρήνα, αλλά και ως σύμβολο και πηγή δημιουργικότητας.
Καλωσορίζοντας τους εκλεκτούς προσκεκλημένους, η ιδρύτρια της γκαλερί, κα Xenia Kulbachevskaya, ανέφερε: «Η Κύπρος δεν είναι απλά ένας τόπος. Είναι ενέργεια, είναι μνήμη, είναι ένα συνονθύλευμα συναισθημάτων. Η Cyprus Orbits επιβεβαιώνει για άλλη μια φορά, ότι αυτό το νησί εμπνέει, ενώνει και μεταμορφώνει. Οι καλλιτέχνες που συμμετέχουν στην έκθεση κουβαλούν μαζί τους από ένα κομμάτι της Κύπρου – είτε γεννήθηκαν εδώ, είτε διατηρούν δεσμούς με το νησί, είτε πέρασαν απλά ως επισκέπτες. Μέσα από τα έργα τους, ο θεατής καλείται να δει το νησί με μια εναλλακτική μάτια: όχι ως τουριστικό προορισμό, αλλά ως ζωντανό καμβά δημιουργίας και διαλόγου».
Σε χαιρετισμό του, ο Δήμαρχος Λεμεσού, κ. Γιάννης Αρμεύτης, έκανε ιδιαίτερη αναφορά στο πολυσχιδές και αξιόλογο έργο της XeniArtSpace Gallery, η οποία έχει καταφέρει να αναδειχθεί σε σημείο αναφοράς για την πόλη. Μέσα από τη μόνιμη συλλογή της, αλλά και τις ξεχωριστές εκθέσεις που φιλοξενεί, συμβάλλει στον εμπλουτισμό της πολιτιστικής ζωής του τόπου, αναδεικνύοντας την τέχνη ως μέσο έκφρασης, διαλόγου και έμπνευσης.
Η Cyprus Orbits αποτελεί ανοιχτή πρόσκληση προς τους επισκέπτες να αναστοχαστούν τη σχέση τους με τον τόπο και να συνδεθούν, παράλληλα, με τη δύναμη της σύγχρονης εικαστικής δημιουργίας.
Την επιμέλεια της έκθεσης ανέλαβε η ομάδα της XeniArtSpace σε συνεργασία με τον Γιώργο Ταξιαρχόπουλο.
Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι την τελετή εγκαινίων ακολούθησε συναυλία με το δημοφιλές κυπριακό συγκρότημα Minus One και παραδοσιακό κυπριακό street food από το “Nook Food and More” και Musa Restaurant, που βρίσκονται στο Trilogy.

Cyprus Orbits: Cyprus at the Heart of Contemporary Artistic Expression
XeniArtSpace proudly presents the group exhibition Cyprus Orbits, a multifaceted artistic experience that brings together visual artists whose creative journeys intersect on a shared field of inspiration: Cyprus.
The exhibition, an initiative of the gallery’s founder, Mrs. Xenia Kulbachevskaya, was officially inaugurated on Saturday, May 17, 2025, by the Mayor of Limassol, Mr. Yiannis Armeftis, at Trilogy Plaza in Limassol. It will remain open to the public until July 26, 2025. The event was attended by representatives of the government, the business community, and the cultural sector.
The exhibition features work by artists who were born in, live in, or draw inspiration from Cyprus, including Dimitris Agapiou, Pascalis Anastasi, Elena Anastasiou Neocleous, Nikolas Antoniou, Elysia Athanatos, Daphne Christoforou, Andrea Evangelou, Andreas Kalli, Anastasia Krivenko, Renos Loizou, Elizabeth Nenarokov, Paparazzi, Panayiotis Pasantas, Thekla Papadopoulou, Nicolas Polychronis, Loucia Serghiou, Themis Themistokleous, Michalis Theodosiou, Christiana Vouzouni, Alexandros Yiorkadjis. Through their work, the artists highlight Cyprus as a cultural crossroads and a source of inspiration and creativity.
Welcoming the distinguished guests, the founder of XeniArtSpace, Mrs Xenia Kulbachevskaya, stated: “Cyprus is not just a place. It is energy, it is memory, it is a blend of emotions. Cyprus Orbits once again confirms that this island inspires, unites, and transforms. The participating artists each carry with them a piece of Cyprus, whether they were born here, have personal ties to the island, or simply passed through as visitors. Through their works, the viewer is invited to see Cyprus from a new perspective, not as a tourist destination, but as a living canvas of creation and dialogue”.
In his address, the Mayor of Limassol, Mr. Yiannis Armeftis, made special reference to the multifaceted and valuable work of XeniArtSpace Gallery, which has succeeded in establishing itself as a cultural landmark for the city. Through its permanent collection and the unique exhibitions, it hosts, the gallery enriches the local cultural landscape, promoting art as a medium of expression, dialogue, and inspiration.
Cyprus Orbits is an open invitation for visitors to reflect on their relationship with place, and to connect with the power and energy of contemporary artistic expression.
The exhibition is curated by the XeniArtSpace team in collaboration with Yiorgos Taxiarchopoulos.
It is worth noting that the opening ceremony was followed by a concert featuring the popular Cypriot band “Minus One”, along with street food and drinks curated by “Nook Food and More” and “Musa Restaurant” located at Trilogy.
